GIS has come a long way! It has been 25 years since the first AWRA GIS & Water Resources Conference and the very term "GIS" doesn't mean the same thing as it did back then. Data, tools, models and good cartography are still incredibly important. Many of us still perform much of our geospatial work on desktops. But ---- we've moved well beyond desktops to the cloud, to decision making and water-based applications that are integral to ecology and society --- well beyond floodplain mapping!

We invite you to register for the conference using the instructions below. Your registration fee includes:

Full Registration: All sessions on Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday; Exhibits; Refreshment Breaks; Networking Reception & Conference Lunch.

Student Registration: All sessions on Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday; Exhibits; Refreshment Breaks; Networking Reception & Conference Lunch. A copy of your student ID and a letter from your institution or professor confirming FULL TIME status should be sent with your registration. Post docs do not qualify. There will be an extensive student program. See Student Program for additional details.

One Day Registration: All sessions, Exhibits, Refreshment Breaks, and Networking Reception or Conference Lunch on the day registered.

Workshop #2

R and Spatial Data, Sunday, April 22, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Instructors: Marc Weber, US EPA; Michael McManus, US EPA; Steve Kopp, Esri

To register, log in with your AWRA username and password to the right. Click "Create a new account" under Sign In above if you don't have an account. Click the "Register Myself" button towards the bottom of page. You may also download the mail in registration form. Please email as an attachment to Mike Kowalski or fax to AWRA HQ at 540-687-8395.

You do not need to be registered for the conference, or be an AWRA member, to participate in the workshops. Once logged in and "Register Myself" button clicked, choose the radio button next to the workshop you wish to go to, designated as Workshop ONLY. Registration Options appear on logon. If you are registering for the conference and workshop, please choose the radio button for conference registration, then click the "add" button for the workshop under "Program" towards the bottom of the page.
