Description

This presentation will describe how water professionals can identify opportunities, funding, and partners focused on drinking water protection. Drinking water partners are highly motivated to develop and implement projects to protect water quality. Collaborative partnerships have been the key to protecting the nation's sources of drinking water. Using three successful projects as examples, this talk will provide concrete ideas for how to achieve success in other watersheds. Projects to be highlighted include: the Sebago Clean Waters (Maine), the NH Regional Conservation Partnership Program and the Farm River National Water Quality Initiative (NWQI) located in CT.
