Future Risk Committee Future risk committee seeks innovations in science and technology to meet challenges to water resource availability that are exacerbated by climate change. Simultaneous increase in runoff, flooding, sea level rise, and drought will pose risks for many sectors, including energy, infrastructure, manufacture, agriculture, and threaten urban development and ecosystem. We will focus on developing strategies to adapt the changes and mitigate the risks. Please join us!

Policy Committee AWRA's Policy Committee is comprised of water professionals and others with an interest in how public policy shapes our collective management of water resources. It is a diverse Committee that includes scientists, educators, policy‐makers and other experts at all stages of their careers. The purpose of AWRA's Policy Committee is to disseminate information on water resource policy issues, helping to translate scientific work into a format for action that public decision‐makers can use and understand, as they go about formulating water policy. Even more specifically, this Committee is dedicated to helping the AWRA Board take a national and international leadership role in the area of water‐resource policy.
